A thrilling political documentary
Simon Ekpa is the prime minister of the Biafra government in exile… Both a self-proclaimed freedom fighter and a wanted terrorist by the Nigerian government… But who is he really? Made before his six-year prison term as the first Finnish citizen to be charged as a terrorist, this documentary gives a glimpse inside the Biafra government in exile and their decades-long struggle for the independence of Biafra, while diving deep into the mind of the man at the centre of the conflict, yet so far away from it, in exile…
This is my first short film, made in my first year of film school.
